Gracie NEPA Judo’s Instructors earn High National Ranking

After an impressive showing in the masters division at this year’s Sr. National championship, All four of Gracie NEPA Judo’s instructors have earned high positioning in USA Judo’s newest batch of Master rankings.
Head Instructor Tom McGuire is currently ranked first at 81kg in the Men’s 30-34 yr old category while assistant instructor Tim Muenkel sits fifth at 73 kg in the same age group

Assistant instructor Mike Lathwood has claimed the fifth spot in the men’s 45-49 yr old group at 81kg while Eddie Adams holds a fourth place ranking at 81kg in the Men’s 50-54 year old category

Although, it is very much an honor that Gracie NEPA judo’s black belt instructing staff owns high ranking through the country, McGuire prefers to see the bigger picture when looking at the rankings
“it’s definitely cool to see your name ranked high there’s no doubt about it but I think the most important thing to me is that these rankings show how much everyone has improved and how hard everyone has worked to be able to reach these rankings.”
